We present a list of the key amendments relating to the cosmetics sector businesses. The main goal of the Act is to strengthen the supervision over the cosmetic products, and in consequence, to impose new obligations on the cosmetics market participants, which failure to comply can result in severe penalties. The Act defines the new competences of administrative bodies responsible for the supervision over the cosmetics market. The Act entered into life on January 1, 2019 except article 62 paragraph 1. The excemption concerns the liquidation of the national cosmetic products notification system that will enter into life on July 12, 2020.
