Andrzej Przytuła

Andrzej is the Joint Head of the Patents and Trademarks Department. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Jagiellonian University (he defended his master’s thesis in the Intellectual Property Law Institute) and the Faculty of International and Political Studies of the Jagiellonian University. He is registered on the list of attorneys at the Warsaw Bar Association.
Andrzej has many years’ experience in providing legal services to Clients in matters relating to civil law and intellectual property law (including industrial property law, unfair competition and copyright and related rights). He also advises on matters related to pharmaceutical and food law, including those related to ‘borderline products.’ He represents Clients before the Polish Patent Office, EPO, EUIPO, WIPO, administrative and common courts.
He is the author of many articles related to trade mark law on the web portal www.znaktowarowy.info. including: ‘Olfactory Trade Marks’, ‘Controversy Surrounding the Spatial Trade Mark – a Study of the case of the APPLE Company Trade Mark’, ‘Apple Inc. He is also co-author of the handbook ‘Industrial Design in Innovation Projects’ (Explanator, 2015) and the book ‘Industrial Property Law. Commentary’ (Wolters Kluwer, 2021).
