The BDO system obliged entrepreneurs to fulfill a number of requirements. Unfortunately it is not easy to determine who is obliged to keep waste records and consequently who is obliged to register in BDO. The complexity of legal regulations and also the lack of their uniform interpretation by controlling bodies is problematic for entities operating in the food industry. Therefore, it is worth getting acquainted with basic requirements in the scope of waste recording in order to avoid unnecessary problems and limit the risk of a severe fine for possible failure to meet the obligations.
