Dr inż. Sylwia Błażej-Sosnowska

Sylwia was graduated from Rzeszów University of Technology in 2003 to begin PhD studies at the Institute of Organic Chemistry in Warsaw, where in 2007 she gained her PhD degree in chemistry field with the specialization in organic synthesis. She became a patent attorney in 2016.

She completed an internship at the Ludwig-Maximilian University in Munich. She also finished a post-graduate studies related to the management of research projects at the Lazarski University in Warsaw. She is a co-author of scientific publications and articles on industrial property.

She has extensive scientific experience in the area of LifeScience. She is a patent attorney specializing in providing a comprehensive consultancy in the field of patent protection of solutions in chemistry, pharmacy and medicine, biotechnology, nanotechnology, mechanical engineering as well as in interdisciplinary technical fields.

She gained her experience conducting scientific projects at research institutes and working in a patent attorney office.

She conducts patent searches, prepares patent desriptions as well as participates in proceedings before patent offices and in patent litigation and court cases. Due to the scientific past and work experience in the legal and business environment, she advises entrepreneurs on how to effectively create, protect and commercialize inventions and manage the innovation potential in an R & D based companies. The evaluation of innovative projects, also in the ecosystem of start-ups and accelerations is a part of her experience as well.

Currently, she cooperates with the Kondrat & Partners Law Office, supporting patent services.
