Anna Sowa-Jadczyk
Patent Attorney
Anna is a Graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Jagiellonian University and Post-graduate Intellectual Property Rights Studies at the University of Warsaw. She was an intellectual property rights expert at the European Commission TAIEX office. Consultant at the National SME Services Network of the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP) accredited in the fileds of IT consulting services and proinnovative services implemented according to the National Innovation System. She held internships at the European Commission, the Austrian and German Patent Offices and also at the Patent Court in Munich.
She specializes in issues relating to industrial property rights, copyright law and corporate governance. She advises on technology finance projects and prepares legal opinions on civil law, copyrights and industry property law, registration of patents, trademarks and designs in the Polish Patent Office, EPO, EUIPO and WIPO. She carries out the projects connected with technology transfers and technology implementation. She represents clients in the court disputes concerning unfair competition and IP infringement.
She has many years’ experience in international project management, including ones relating to generating seed capital. For 12 years she advises start-ups on their investments, in particular on technology transfers and commercialization. She advised on investments valued at >PLN 16 m.
She is the author of numerous publications relating to intellectual property law. She is a speaker at national and international conferences.
