On 24th August Rzeczpospolita published an article by Andrzej Przytuła, advocate and partner, and Natalia Dyda, legal advisor: „Colour as a brand – how to obtain monopoly for a particular colour?”. The article is based on PLAY’s case study, for which KONDRAT & Partners obtained monopoly for violet colour in June 2018.
Colour is an universal, simple but strong signal influencing people’s senses. An individual colour can be characterised with a special meaning or symbol. A colour can be a marketing driver of a brand.
